Frequently asked questions
I want to use EF Polymer. What application guidelines do you recommend?
We offer three types: powder (under 1 mm, for seedbeds, pots and growing media), micro-granule (1–2 mm, for row vegetables with a micro-granule applicator) and granule (2–4 mm, for open field and spreader). All three have the same base composition and the same effects; choose the one that suits your use. For specific doses and methods, see the How to use it section of the frequently asked questions.
Are field trial results available?
Yes. The field trial results we can publish at present are on the Field trials page.
Are there crops or soil types where EF Polymer cannot be used?
At present EF Polymer can be used with any crop and in any soil type. Even in poorly drained soils, the expansion and contraction of the polymer creates air spaces in the soil. This process helps oxygen reach the roots and provides a habitat for microorganisms, which can have a positive influence on plant growth and on soil health.
